2. Website hosting

We use IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, for hosting and email delivery. When you visit this website, technically necessary connection data is processed, including your IP address, access time, requested page or file, browser and operating system information and, where available, the referring page.

This processing supports the secure and reliable operation of our website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. According to IONOS, visitor IP addresses in the supplied access logs are anonymised and log data is retained for up to eight weeks. IONOS may also process this data for the access statistics it provides. See IONOS information on web hosting data processing.

3. Contact form and email enquiries

When you contact us, we process your name, email address, message and, if provided, your company and selected service. Your name, email address and message are required to submit the form. Sending an enquiry is voluntary; without the required details, the form cannot be submitted.

Your enquiry is emailed to MarketWords and processed by the people handling it. We use your details to respond and, where relevant, to prepare or carry out our work with you. The form does not create a separate database of your messages.

Where your enquiry concerns a contract with you or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other enquiries, including business contacts on behalf of a company, are processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is responding to business enquiries and communicating with prospective clients and their representatives.

We retain correspondence as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. It is then deleted unless legal retention duties apply or it is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Contract-related records may be subject to statutory retention requirements. An enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter.

4. Protection against automated enquiries

The form uses a field hidden from regular visitors and limits submissions from the same IP address to one per minute. A hash derived from the IP address and the time of the most recent enquiry are stored in the server's temporary directory. These technical records do not contain your message, name or email address. Their retention depends on the cleanup of the temporary server directory. They are not used for advertising profiles. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, with the legitimate interest of protecting the form and mailbox against abuse.

5. Recipients and transfers

Hosting and email service providers may process the data necessary to provide their services. The form does not automatically forward your enquiry to publishers or other partners. If sharing is needed for your project, we will discuss it separately with you. No transfer to recipients outside the EU or EEA is intended for the website and form processing described here.

6. Cookies and external content

The website code does not set analytics or marketing cookies. It does not load external fonts, advertising pixels or embedded social media content. The form does not use cookies. External sites linked from this website are subject to their operators' own privacy notices.

7. Your rights

Subject to the statutory conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time for the future without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Right to object: Where processing relies on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may object to processing for direct marketing at any time.

To exercise your rights, contact copy@market-words.com. You may also complain to a data protection authority, in particular in the country of your habitual residence, place of work or the alleged infringement. The relevant authority in North Rhine-Westphalia is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia.

We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
